Julia Bladin joined Terrell Marshall as an associate in 2025 after finishing a two-year civil rights litigation fellowship at MacDonald Hoague & Bayless in Seattle, Washington where she practiced primarily in the areas of civil rights, police accountability, and employment discrimination and litigation. Ms. Bladin earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law where she served in the Civil Rights and Justice clinic and interned with two non-profit legal aid organizations in Washington. Prior to law school, Julia worked as a legal assistant in the civil legal aid community in Seattle. Her experiences in legal aid influenced her decision to pursue a legal career continue to inform the type of advocate she strives to be for her clients.

Julia was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and has remained in the Pacific Northwest ever since. In her spare time, she enjoys taking long city walks with her husband and their newly adopted dog, cooking for and hosting friends and family, playing soccer, and skiing.

Complex Litigation

Helped obtain a successful jury verdict after a three-week trial in King County Superior Court resulting in a $3.8 million verdict for her client including $3.2 million in emotional harm damages.
