Settlement Reached in Robinhood Financial Class Action

March 18, 2024

Judge Rothstein of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington preliminarily approved a $9,000,000 class action settlement that will resolve claims that Robinhood Financial LLC sent unsolicited text messages to Washington residents in violation of Washington’s Commercial Electronic Mail Act (CEMA) and the Washington Consumer Protection Act (CPA). The court set a hearing for July 16, 2024 to determine whether the settlement should receive final approval.

Beth Terrell and Jennifer Murray of Terrell Marshall worked with Michelle Drake, Sophia Rios, Mark Desanto, and Zach Vaughn of Berger Montague PC to achieve this excellent result for the class.
